1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using www.elliesalon.ca (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Site by any third party. You further agree not to:

- Use the Site in a way that could disable, overburden, damage or impair the Site or interfere with any other party’s use of it.

- Use any robot, spider or other automated device, or manual process to monitor or copy any of the pages of the Site or the content without prior express written permission.

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Site.

3. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (including text, images, graphics, logos, audio clips, video clips, digital downloads, data compilations) is the property of Ellie Salon or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark and other laws.
You may view, download or print pages from the Site for your personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use (including modifying, reproducing, distributing, transmitting, creating derivative works, displaying, or exploiting) without our prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

4. Booking and services

Use of the Site may allow you to book appointments, purchase gift cards, or otherwise engage our services. All bookings are subject to our salon’s standard service terms (including cancellations, deposits, refunds). Please refer to the specific policies on booking and cancellations published by the salon.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law:

- Ellie Salon makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content or materials on it.

- Ellie Salon does not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

- Ellie Salon is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Site, including damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ellie Salon, its directors, employees, agents and affiliates from any claim, damages, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Site or your breach of these Terms.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Québec for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. If we do so, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after such changes will signify your acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that part shall be severed and the remainder of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
